HOW ONE CAN PRACTICE ENGLISH AT HOME ?

HOW ONE CAN PRACTICE ENGLISH AT HOME ?

 INTRODUCTION

Here we are going to underlines some basic ways that can help you to practice English alone at home.

1-  Speak into the mirror  :2. Collocation fun 3. Practice with short audios /Imitating actors /Sing in English,4. Send/Receive audio messages / Imitate the English foreigner 5-Shadowing/ Describe what you are/ Tongue Twisters/ Practice idioms, 6- Immerse yourself in English/ Join a community.

THE WHOLE PROCESS OF DOING IT

1- SPEAK INTO THE MIRROR

– Speak to the mirror Using the mirror in front of you will help you keep an eye on what you’re saying and your other body language. It is natural to feel as though you are at a conversation with your reflection, which may encourage you to explore areas of expanding vocabulary.

  • Look at your skills in the mirror and reflect on them….
  • Tell me a story…. And then take that information and apply it to your own situations.
  • Using a tongue twister, make some sea shells off your beach.
  • You will be more efficient at work and stronger emotionally.
  • Get the poets to do your work for you.
  • 2- COLLOCATION FUN

If you don’t have time to make your own sets, simply use the search function to pore over the ever-growing database. Who knows… you might find one of mine or my colleagues’, e.g., make/do collocations or catch/make/do/have.

3- PRACTICE WITH SHORT AUDIO/ IMITATING ACTORS/ SING IN ENGLISH

One should involve himself in practicing by singing, recording audio voice messages in English that can help to improve; we should imitate actors in their ways of speaking.

4- SEND/ RECEIVE AUDIO MESSAGES/ IMITATE THE ENGLISH FOREIGNER

Since an SMS copy doesn’t allow too much text, marketers often use shortenings and acronyms to pack maximum in one message. And sometimes such technique makes the SMS hard to scan and digest. Trying to imitate forereigners is one of the best ways.

5- SHADOWING/ DESCRIBE WHAT YOU ARE/ TONGUE TWISTERS/ PRACTICE IDIOM

Listen to an audio or video recording and echo the speaker without pausing. This option is great if you’re on the go but still want some practice time. Listen to an audio or video recording, pause after each line or a certain chunk of words, and echo the speaker. And then move to the next line. This option is perfect if you have time to go deeper into the speech.

6- IMMERSE YOURSELF IN ENGLISH/ JOING A COMMUNITY

One should find friends and community that can help us improve our English.

THE STEPS OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE SPEAKING

THE STEPS OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE SPEAKING

    English

    Ø  INTRODUCTION

In many speaking languages, there are rules and different manners of patterns people use  speak to one another. Hence, throughout this article, we ‘ll find hints and manners that help people to interact as far as English communicative language is concern. We will basically talk about three major steps: Reading, listening/understanding and speaking.

    1-      READING😁

While learning English Language, we should consider the importance of reading as one of the clues that can help listen and well speak a language. No one can learn a language without reading this language. Reading- small texts, small dialogues or conversations, short articles … Will enables us with basic words and expressions, that can be found in the daily conversations with people and others. One of the reason why we should learn the letters as alphabet of the language we want to learn. Here is the English alphabet bellow.

    2-       LISTENING/ UNDERSTANDING👂

The human mind is made up with capacities that can help him record the vocal words in his or her mind. Most of the time people think the can learn a language and speak it in only some few days or months, this is wrong because a language is wide so the better advice is to start doing it slow by slow, by reading and listening or understanding it. This will surely help make it. Listening is really the powerful hints that helps to learn a language. Here we advice you to learn more and listen to any voiced sound words in English, this can be audios, music, radio broadcasts, journalism, shoat dialogues or conversations in English. Our mind memorises all these words in our memory even without our knowledge, and the day or time we will be in need of this word, it will come automatically.

    3-      SPEAKING👸

Speaking is the last step in the process. This step will be safely achieve if we respect the 1st and the 2nd steps we already mention above (Reading and Listening). SPEAKING is the last and final step in the process, because if you master words and listen to the spoken English without making effort to speak or at least, practice, repeat, say,… When you are with people, so you will never speak or be good at English.

    Ø  CONCLUSION

To sum up, we can say that the speaking of English language, is so easy if one respects the three organized steps we talked about. But if it happens that you respect these steps and you can’t achieve a good result, don’t hesitate to call for our assistance.

Global warming is the ongoing rise of the average temperature of the Earth's climate system and has been demonstrated by direct temperature measurements and by measurements of various effects of the warming. It is a major aspect of climate change which, in addition to rising global surface temperatures, also includes its effects, such as changes in precipitation. While there have been prehistoric periods of global warming, observed changes since the mid-20th century have been unprecedented in rate and scale.

      GRAMMAR/ Reported speech

     - Definition:
Reported speech is when we tell someone what another person said. To do this, we can use direct speech or indirect speech
Direct speech: Ex. DS"I work in a bank" said my father.
IS: my father said that he worked in the bank.

    REMARKS
1- the DS is always put into cotation or inverted comas.
2- In the indirect speech, we change the tenses, pronouns, adverbs.
